Joris Burger received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Delft University of Technology in 2014. While completing his studies he followed a 6 month minor program with a strong focus on computational design and digital fabrication under supervision of Jonas Runberger & Oliver Tessmann, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. After his Bachelor degree he went on to pursue an internship in various architecture and engineering offices in the Netherlands, before starting his Master studies of Building Technology, also at the TU Delft. During his Master studies he has been focusing on design to fabrication, façade design and computational form finding. Furthermore he has been studying at Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, as part of a semester abroad. Since October 2017 Joris Burger is a research intern at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication (Prof. Fabio Gramazio, Prof. Matthias Kohler) working within the project Smart Dynamic Casting.
